5 Steps to Visualize the Abundant Life you Desire

When I was first introduced to The Law of Attraction, I must admit I didn’t really have a firm understanding of how it worked. I remember following along as experts on The Law of Attraction talked about the importance of visualizing exactly what you want to achieve in your life, and then picturing yourself possessing all of those things in the current moment.

After learning a bit more about The Law of Attraction and positive visualization, I felt motivated to put my knowledge to action and live the abundant life I desired. However, even though I had learned a lot of new things, I still felt like I didn’t know enough about visualization to make The Law of Attraction work for me.

If you have a strong desire to live a happy and abundant life but you’re not sure how to visualize your success, then follow along with me as I lay out a few tips that will help you visualize abundance and then achieve it.

Step #1: Find a Comfortable Place to Visualize

You can visualize on your bed, on the sofa, or even in a meditative position on the floor, but make sure you find one place that you can visualize, and be consistent about returning to that place often. Above all, make sure the place you choose allows you to relax, free your mind, and be comfortable. 

Step #2: Eliminate all Outside Distractions

If you want to be successful with visualization, you need to focus on the moment and clear away any outside distractions that may lessen the effect of the visualization. When you practice visualization, make sure you are far away from your cell phone, your computer, or the television. If listening to soothing music helps you, then by all means do it, but don’t choose anything that will distract from the exercise.

Step #3: Immerse Yourself in the Visualization

Once you’ve found a comfortable spot and you’ve eliminated all distractions, it’s time to completely immerse yourself in the visualization experience. If you want your visualization to have a strong effect, you need to think about the things that you want and form a picture of them in your mind. If it helps, describe how those things look in your mind or out loud. Think about why you want to achieve them and why you are capable of succeeding. Even if you haven’t seen some of these things in real life, you should be able to visualize them very clearly.

Step #4: Get in Touch With Your Senses

It’s not enough just to simply think about what you want—you have to feel it in every fiber of your being. Try your best to feel what it’s like to have those things in your life. If your goal is to travel the world on a long vacation, feel every aspect of that vacation—the cool summer breeze on the beaches of Hawaii, the sand beneath your toes, and the gorgeous panoramic view that’d you wake up to every morning, the sun beating against your face. Do your best to make those experiences a part of your life, as if you have them in front of you to grasp. If you stick to this habit over time and connect your senses to your dreams and desires, eventually you will begin feeling like you have these things in your life, which sets the stage for you to manifest what you want.

#5: Repeat This Exercise Every day for 20 Minutes

If you truly want to reap the benefits of positive visualization, you need to make it a habit. I’d suggest doing a visualization exercise at least once per day (or more if you’re up for it), for a minimum of 20 minutes. After a while you will feel more energized, more confident, and you won’t feel any lack in your life anymore. All of this makes it possible for you to achieve the life you want and the abundance you desire.
