But, in what areas in life do we find abundance. This is very important because so many people are looking for abundance and happiness in the wrong places. Once you find 1 area in your life that has the largest amount of abundance. Work on it…focus on nurturing it and building it….Then…Let it grow.
That one abundance area will begin to open your eyes and spill into others that don’t seem to be going in the right direction.
So here are 5 common places people find their abundance….there are many more.
Family, friends, that special someone. Creating and developing positive relationships serve as a grounding point in our lives. Even if our SELF is a complete mess having relationships with happy and loving people charges our soul. It’s contagious. The ultimate goal with relationships is having people who love us and who we love. It’s a powerful feeling and such a positive emotion it can power us thru tough times. Loneliness has always been one of the major benefactors towards depression, and healthy relationships are required to prevent you from breaking down. Take your relationships to the next level by placing your foot forward and showing gratitude, giving, and love towards that person.
Focusing on our own personal development is key to being abundant in most areas. Let go of negativity and focus on the good things coming to you. Develop your mind thru study and work. Strive to always learn new things. Constantly expand your awareness and discover new ways of expressing your divine gifts. Don’t let it decay. Get creative. Find something that will challenge your mind and go do it. Clear your thoughts. Be honest. De-clutter your life, make it simple to live so you can add the important things back in.
If you have good health, use it. Go and do things that allow your body and brain to remember that you are healthy. Start a new sport, do an activity you have never done before. Or even better one that is very challenging physically. Why do you think so many people get such a mental WIN from running in marathons or competing in triathlons? It is empowering to show your body is amazing and you have the health to do it. If you can’t do a marathon find something that is a little challenging and do it. If you do not have good health and it is something you can fix….FIX IT. If it is weight or diet, or bad habits…Get your health back. If it is a disease that you can’t control make sure you are doing everything in your power to lighten the situation, or studying all materials and new information around it. Find some things that will show you your body can still do amazing things and do them. There will be peace in this.
Have the mindset of appreciation and think less of ourselves and what we want. It’s been said that if you’re feeling sad, go serve someone. Serve someone. Do something nice for them. Change your main reaction from I need and I want to….I need to help or I want to give. It can change your life. It takes your mind off your sorrows and helps you feel joy in your heart for bringing a bit of light into someone else’s life. If you help someone in need, whether we know them or not, it can bring a peaceful joy otherwise unattainable. Enjoying the happiness of others is another way of extending your own happiness. The easiest gift to give is to treat everyone with kindness. If you have nothing you could always give your ear and truly listen to others. Be present and mindful to what others are really saying when they speak.
By definition nature is abundant. It is everywhere. On the weekend, escape to nature or a place where you can feel peace in time for a fresh start to the work week. Get outside whenever possible to breathe in the fresh air and feel the sunshine. Both of which studies have shown to have a positive effect on our health and our mood. For your body to function the way it was designed we need at least 20 mins a day of full sun. Observe the natural beauty that surrounds you and feel a sense of connection. Appreciate the details and miracles that can be found in nature.
